The Delay

I'm sorry that there haven't been any updates in a long while. There's been a lot that I've been dealing with which has put on hold the project i am working on. I've taken projects off my list and added new ones and so on and so forth.

However, I promise you all that before the year is out i will announce my next script. I'm trying to keep things under wraps but I'm sure you'll all enjoy what i have in store!

THE WALKING DEAD : Imagine if you woke up tomorrow and the world had crumbled to complete chaos. In cities throughout the world, an unexplainable event has occurred; the recently deceased are returning to life and feasting on the living. Ordinary men, woman, children, your neighbors, your closest friends, your loved ones, have fallen victim to this phenomenon. Where will you be, when the end of the world begins?

Scripts:

Fantastic 4 : after a mission into space gives 4 astronauts superhuman abilities, they must work together to not only come to grips with their powers, but to also save, potentially, the world from a threat closer to them than they wished.

Dracula : a modern re imagining of the legendary vampire tale, this version tells the story of Dracula's move from Budapest, Hungary to New York City and how his blood-lust is a curse for a betrayal he made soo long ago and how a young girl's lineage is the only salvation he has.

Untitled "Found Footage" Project : following the format of films such as Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield, this story will follow 4 documentary makers as they go on a journey to uncover the real truth behind the infamous "Michigan Dogman".

BIG BIG UPDATES!!!

everyone, i am SOO SORRY for the long delay in updates. i just have dealing with personal things and have never had enough time to sit down and update this.

Alright... here are the current list of projects i am working on... all of them slowly so i dont screw up... but the first one im mention is for real... like i'm actually gonna try and get it published whenever i finish it.

EXTRAORDINARY.... a novel I'm working on, about a gay teenager who develops superpowers and must deal with the after effects they have, all the while having to deal with keeping not only his abilities a secret, but his homosexuality a secret too, for fear of ridicule from friends and his family. However he stumbles upon a conspiracy, so dark and so monumental, that he is faced with the life altering choice of whether or not he should head down the road to become a real life comic book superhero...

so yes thats my big real world project, that I'll take my time with and i wont rush it and... ill do whatever i can to get it published once it is all done.

so here is my other project, a script, that im doing for fun and will post up online once im finished. im still developing it, doing characters and soo forth, so theres not much to say here....

FANTASTIC 4: REBORN.... a reboot of the Fantastic 4 movies featuring the origin story of marvel Comic's first ever superhero team, the Fantastic Four. Sue Storm aka The Invisible Woman... Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic.... Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch and  Ben Grimm aka The Thing...... After a mission into space alters their DNA forever, the Fantastic Four try to come to terms with their superhuman abilities and their affect on each other.

I have yet to decide on which villian i should do, although i am, of course, leaning to Victor Von Doom as the antagonist.

365 DAYS

          365 days ago I met the most important person I’ve ever met in my life. What started out as just casual conversation has sparked into the relationship of a life time. A relationship that has had as many ups as it has downs. A relationship that has made us do some pretty stupid shit, but most of it has been in the name of love. A relationship where I know… he’s the only one.

          If you were to have asked me at this time last year “you think you’ll find the future Mr. Huelsman?” I would have said hell no. On October 26, 2009, I was browsing a dating site… .and came across a man named Julius… rare name, I liked it. The picture was of his head; the background black and white, but the eyes… such a beautiful shade of bright blue. It was almost like they were calling me in. After reading his bio and realizing that he was on another continent, I sent him…

hey. read your ad. took me a minute to figure out where you were, then my stupidness left me and i understood hehe. thats gotta be really tough sooo far away. im in pittsburgh, but im from cleveland ohio, i feel sorry for ya.

A few hours later… I got a response back from this… Julius, character…

I'm doing fine. thank you for your corncern. although its a little lonely, not being able to interact with the majority of the people. i am still having fun in such a new environment.

… And so began a two month period of time in which we talked on and off. I will admit, at first he didn’t really treat me well. In fact he was a douche… but there was something about him… something that kept drawing me closer to this person. While he was making a horrible impression, I liked him… I liked the fact he was there, always willing to talk.

          About a month later I met my first boyfriend, Brett, on this same website. We started talking and he was a hell of a lot nicer, more talkative… soon we began to develop feelings for each other and when I returned home for winter break we started going out. We ended up dating for about a month.. before he brought the relationship down. I was too loving, affectionate, caring…. bull fucking shit, people kill to have that in relationships.

          One of the first people I told was Julius and while he had shown kindness before, this was the first time he showed me that he cared. He was soo sweet… afraid to leave me alone, always asking what he can do to help. It was then that I realized that this guy, who only two months before had an utter distain for me, actually liked me an cared about me.

          In the weeks after, we began talking more and more than we ever did. Every time he’d pop up online I’d get excited. We began to slowly become closer and closer. Julius was drawing pictures of me… for me and I thought that it was the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me. I’d talk to him every chance I got to. I would even stay up to the wee hours of the morning… just to tell him good morning. My feelings for him grew stronger and deeper… but I admit, I was afraid.

          Julius had started to make me feel special in ways that Brett never even reached. I knew Julius’ feelings were true and as strong as mine, but what scared me the most wasn’t that I was falling for an amazing person, but that I was falling for an amazing person who I might not ever be able to hold in my arms.

          Without his knowing at the time, I started looking around locally. People would pop up, but only last a week or so… but no matter what, Julius was there, always. I would have small time flings with guys but I always came back to this stranger I met online.

          It wasn’t til Febuary that I first said “I love you” to Julius. I said it because I meant it. Even though I was soo scared that I’d be in a long distance relationship and never hold him… or kiss, I loved him. He was soo perfect… no faults. He had a hard time saying it, but he was just nervous. Then, when I finally heard those 4 words “I love you too”… my heart exploded, I broke down crying, because it was at that moment I realized that I was once again in love… that my feelings weren’t lying, that my heart was telling me the truth. I loved Julius.

          Even tho I loved him, the thought that I’d never kiss him or hold him still ran through my heard on a daily basis. I still looked around Pittsburgh for someone long term (it was a waste of energy) and even though they all ended badly, the bright spot in my life was Julius, always, always showing his love for me.

          During this time, Julius and I were starting to develop plans for him to come down during my (planned) summer quarter and stay at the dorms with me for a week. We wanted to see each other… hold each other… kiss each other… soo badly. I was afraid of being a financial strain on him, but his passion for me.. his desire to be with him, if only for a short amount of time, was enough for him to wanna come down. Sadly, though, those plans fell through.

          April 13^th. One of the greatest days of my life. That was the day I decided enough was enough and I wanted to be in an official relationship with Julius, a man who had once been a douche and was now a perfect, beautiful angel. April 13^th wasn’t the only happy day of my life. There was the day in late july when Julius came down and stayed with me for over a week… then not even a month later I went up and spent time with him. Those trips… PROVED… that we were in much more than a long distance relationship. These trips PROVED that what we had was true love, love that will never die.

          The last day Julius was down here in the states, on the last night, I made a promise to him… to marry him, but it wasn’t until my trip up to Canada, where he got down on one knee and presented a beautiful ring to me, that I knew in my heart he wanted the same thing. I’m still pissed he beat me to the punch (regards to the ring) just kidding, baby!

          I’ve never met someone more loving, more caring, more compassionate, more beautiful, more.. perfect, in my life. No one on earth or in heaven can even BEGIN to compare to all Julius has done. We fight, we disagree, but in the end we love each other. I still once in a while cry myself to sleep, because he is soo far away and all I want is to hold him during the night, squeeze him when im cold, kiss him when I dream of his beautiful, angelic face. He is the miracle of my life, my light, my fire.

          Julius is perfect. He holds the key to my heart. He is the TRUE definition of soulmate. Nothing will ever come between us. He is my idol, my hero, my white knight… my destiny….

big updates soon

sorry the long long delay in updates. i really am. i promise tomorrow i will give a big update, letting people know the goings on with my projects and so forth.

there are going to be A LOT of changes happening when it comes to my list of projects. i wont go into detail whats going on or why.... i guess you can say that there has been a recent change of plans due to creative and idea conflicts...

the follow list of projects are now canceled, with no immediate intention of re-starting them....

recap of updates

1.) V is being turned into a mini-series. originally i was planning a 3 part mini-series, but i decided to extend it to 6 episodes total. i wont be focusing on V all that much, ill still work on it, but not at the rate i was earlier.

2.) I'm pushing back my Resident Evil 5 plans to a later date, so i can fit room into my schedule for another project.

3.) im developing two projects at the moment. One is an adaptation of the anime Wolf's Rain.... the other a sci-fi flick involving an extraterrestrial invasion of Earth. more updates on those as they come along.

First encounters... don't always end peacefully...

V no longer a movie, but....

... im reworking V to be a three part mini-series, with each episode being the equivalent of a two hour movie. Work on V has slowed down a bit, but ive been going through some personal rough times. AND with making V a mini-series now, it gives me a chance to begin work on several other projects i have in store.

Tomorrow i will officially begin writing V. (ill be baby sitting my aunt and uncles dogs for the weekend so yea i got something to do) From this point on ill do either weekly or bi weekly updates concerning V.

also, there is a new last minute addition to the cast, that of actor Liev Schreiber as the President of the United States, President O'Donnell.

.... mmm.... on the V front im gonna be starting to write very soon. ill also confirm that i have a trilogy in mind for the V series. ill continue doing updates once V gets started....

....... mmmmmmm...... OH!!! im reconsidering rebooting Resident Evil..... while im not too fond of Resident Evil: Afterlife, ive come to respect it..... so its a HIGH possibility that ill do a fifth Resident Evil film script, picking up where Afterlife left off. (i love Resident Evil, thats why im doing this)

...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............  a long time ago i was considering a Halo movie..... don't know if ill continue any sort of work on it................

V Cast List... part 2.... the Visitors themselves!!!

Nathan - played by actor Matthew Goode, famous for his roles in Watchmen, Leap Year and A Single Man. Nathan is the Supreme Commander of the Visitors (a combination of John and The Leader from the original mini-series'). As the leader of his people, Nathan does whatever he has to do in order to get the United Nations and the rest of the world to view the Visitors in a positive light. Because of all the assistance he offers and the peace he brokers throughout the world, mankind views him and the Visitors as Gods. To humanity, he is referred to as the Supreme Commander but the Visitors call him, "Your Excellency."....

Laura - played by award winning actress Zoe Saldana, famous for her roles in Star Trek, Avatar and The Losers. As Nathan's wife, she is automatically his Second-in-Command. Whenever Nathan is unavailable, he sends Laura out to spread the Visitor's message of hope and peace throughout the world. However, she has her own agenda as well, one that is more fierce and dark that it overshadows Nathan's plans for humanity.

Steven - played by television star Lee Pace. As Nathan's Third-in-Command, Steven is the head of all matters involving security concerning the Visitors and their allies. However, he also serves as General for the ENTIRE Visitor Army and Fleet. He is Nathan's most loyal friend and will do whatever is asked of him, no matter the costs....

Alexa - played by Veronica Mars actress Kristen Bell. Alexa is Laura's personal assistant. She will do whatever Laura asks of her to do, no matter what it is.

Paul - played by award winning actor James McAvoy, from The Last King of Scotland and Wanted. Paul is one of the many Visitor Officers who deal with most interactions between humans and Visitors. Unbeknown to the Visitors' High Command, he is in fact the leader of the resistance movement against Nathan's rule. This movement is known as "The 5th Column."

Dylan - played by actor and dancer Alex Meraz, who came to fame as the werewolf Paul in Twilight: New Moon. Dylan is the leader of the Los Angeles branch of the Visitor Human Alliance, which promotes friendship between young adults and Visitors. As his feelings for Rebecca grow deeper... more real, he realizes that he must do whatever he can to protect her from the Supreme Commander's plans.

V Cast List... for those who care.

Mark Donavan - played by Prison Break actor Wentworth Miller. Mark is a soldier returning home following the end of the Iraq War when the Visitors arrive.

Jessica Matthews - played by actress Elizabeth Banks, from the movies Role Models and Zach and Miri Make A Porno. Jessica is Mark's girlfriend who works as a nurse in a New York Hospital. Her personal faith in God is changed the day the Visitors show up all over the world.

Lillian Figueroa - played by Academy Award winning actress Penelope Cruz. Lillian is a widely respected news anchor on Fox News, but her big break comes when she is invited up to the New York Visitor Mothership to have a one on one interview with the Supreme Commander of the Visitors himself.

Julius Williams - played by actor Sam Worthington, from Terminator: Salvation and Avatar. Julius is a Los Angeles cop whose dark past comes to haunt him when the Visitors appear over Earth's major cities.

Chris Black - played by Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia. Good, close friend of Julius and cousin of Mark Donavan. The only person who Julius reveals his "secret" to.


Casey Donavan - played by award winning actress Amy Adams, from Enchanted and Julie and Julia. As Mark's younger sister, she works in the White House as a personal assistant to the President of the United States himself. With this position, she has behind the scenes access to the Visitors and their interactions with the President. 


Ellen Hawthorne - played by multi-award winning actress Sigourney Weaver, whose most famous role is that of Ripley from the "Alien" series. Ellen is a retired high school teacher. As a single mother with a daughter in college and a teenage son just about to start, her grip on her somewhat dysfunctional family gets worse when the Visitors arrive and her children take up interests in the Visitors, both in different ways.


Max Hawthorne - played by actor Jeremy Sumpter. The arrival of the Visitors gives Max a new outlook on life. His desire to get closer to the Visitors leads him to join the Visitor Alliances program, which allows young people to visit the Motherships and meet with Visitor Officers.


Rebecca Hawthorne - played by actress Ellen Page, famous for her roles in Juno and Inception. In her senior year of college, her world is changed when the Visitors arrive. However, as Rebecca gets closer to the Visitor known as Dylan, their choices will have a rippling effect that neither of them ever would have expected.

V... Long Live The Resistance!!!

First off... let me give you a lil history of the "V" franchise...


Premiering on May 1st, 1983, V: The Original Mini-Series was a two-part science fiction television miniseries, written and directed by Kenneth Johnson. First shown in 1983, it concerned aliens known as "The Visitors" trying to gain control of Earth.  Due to its immense success, a second mini-series was produced.  V: The Final Battle (abbreviated as V:TFB) is a 1984 TV miniseries. It is a sequel to the 1983 miniseries written by Kenneth Johnson. Johnson, however, left production of V: The Final Battle in its early stages, after completing a draft with three other writers. This draft was reckoned by the four writers to have delivered an exciting and emotionally satisfying conclusion, but NBC was not prepared to make the necessary budget available to realize the special effects. The network fired Johnson before he had the opportunity to make edits bringing The Final Battle in on a reduced budget. 


Recently, ABC has remade V into a new, popular series. V is an American science fiction television series first broadcast on ABC on November 3, 2009. A re-imagining of the 1983 miniseries created by Kenneth Johnson, the new series chronicles the arrival on Earth of a technologically advanced alien species which ostensibly comes in peace, but actually has sinister motives.On May 13, 2010, ABC renewed Vfor a second season which will premiere in November 2010.

I tell you the history of V so you can get a general idea of what i'm gonna be doing with my new adaptation. the script for V that im beginning to work on will not be done in a mini-series format, but in fact a motion picture version. im already working heavily on V, deciding to push most of my other projects off to the side for the time being.


Like all other versions of V, my remade adaptation will concern the arrival of the human-like Visitors, who proclaim peace and friendship, but in fact have grave and malevolent intentions for the human race. 


Within the week i will have a complete "cast list" available. for those who do not know, a "cast list" in my case is when i give characters in a script of mine a real life actor to play the role, if the script were to be imagined as a movie.


I really hope that i succeed in getting people hyped up for V. I am a huge fan of both the original mini-series' and the new series on ABC, but for a long time, for years ive been slowly working on my OWN adaptation of Kenneth Johnson's masterpiece of television history.

Story Updates

for those who know and/or care... im not just working on novels but i also do stories in screenplay format. most people dont read them... well screw 'em. right now im developing a Resident Evil reboot and thats going very nicely. im picturing it being a fully computer animated, picture perfect realistic looking movie.. if it was ever made to film. itll stick VERY closely to the first game... but ill still have fun with it and do new things too!!!

also... im announcing that im gonna be starting to also develop a movie adaptation of V, the hit mini series that premiered in the 80's and is now currently a new show on ABC. however, my version of V will not be a continuation of the original mini series nor is it a side story of the new ABC show. it is my own complete retelling of the arrival of the human-like Visitors and how their presence affects our world. i have no clue when ill be working on that... since i got other stuff in the works. i just wanted to announce here that i WILL work on an adaptation of V within the foreseeable future.

Gonna be in Canada!

So I'm super excited!!!! I'm gonna be in Canada for the last week of August, spending time with my wonderful boyfriend, Julius!!!! I am soo unbelievably excited to see him before he goes off to Hungary and school :( really... it does depress me.

I'm also nervous about going too. Mostly because of the facts that I'll be traveling alone for the very first time in my life AND i'm nervous about crossing the border. Am I smuggling a nuke into Canada? no... but still.... just nervous is all.

Doubt that I'll be able to post while i'm in the country. i wont be bringing my laptop with me... i am not going through that trouble.

Since i dont have to tell you about myself, (you can just look at my profile), i might as well give short quick blurbs about my current project, novel wise:

WOLFDAWN--- after Trent Thompson's parents are critically injured in a car accident, he is sent to live with his grandparents in Bellaire, Michigan. There he learns the mysteries of a local legend known as "The Michigan Dogman," which tells of a human-like wolf who stalks the surrounding countryside. While at the new school, he becomes close friends with several students, including the senior class president. But as he gets closer to her, his feelings are pulled in another direction... the shy, quiet Joshua Tangen.

As his feelings for Josh grow stronger, Trent unravels the mysteries of the legendary Dogman and comes to realize that the man he is falling for... isn't fully human.


i plan to give updates here about WolfDawn, other projects ill work on... and whatever else comes to my mind. If you've made it this far in reading this post... hopefully you'll stick around for all others to follow! ^^
